The Illustration Academy

The Illustration Academy was quite an experience: intense, but enriching. I was stretched and challenged, and came away with some nice pieces. Here are my favorites.

This was created as a mock cover for "The Audence" arts annual. It's my nod to the immortal Gibson Girl: still stylish after all these years.

It always bothered me that illustrations of Jack's beanstalk never included any beans!

This was painted in response to C.F. Payne's challenge: depict a conversation using pictures only.

Here's my take on Abigail Williams from Arthur Miller's The Crucible. She is one shady lady.
